| Ingredients |
| 01. Pre-heat the oven to 180°c. 02. Sieve the refined wheat flour (maida) and baking powder together. 03. Beat the butter till it is smooth and soft. 04. Add the powdered sugar, lemon juice and grated lemon rind to it and continue to beat well till it is very soft. 05. Next, break the eggs one by one, and add it to this mixture. Beat well after each egg is added. 06. Slowly add the sieved Maida and baking powder mixture, along with the vanilla essence and the coconut. Mix it all well together. 07. Grease and line a cake tray with butter paper. Pour the prepared cake batter into it and bake in the pre-heated oven for 30 minutes or till it is done. 08. Now, spread Royal Icing over the cake and make the Fondant Icing over it. 09. Use the fondant icing to make designs, as shown in the picture, and place it on top of the cake. |
